An innovative partnership between Live Lounge Music and up-market bars across West Yorkshire is proving to be massively popular. Live Lounge acoustic sessions started at The Yard in Ilkley on 4th March with a launch performance by Live Lounge acoustic trio and has been providing great acoustic music every Sunday since then.
Now, this initiative is set for major expansion with the sign-up of two more quality venues. Live Lounge Sunday sessions are starting at Suburban Bar in Baildon on 8th April, with an acoustic performance by the amazing Frank Farkas (‘Bono’ with top U2 tribute band New2). The sessions will be available twice a week soon at Cellar V in Guiseley. Marc Otway, a talented singer/songwriter from Leeds kicks off on Sunday 1st April and City of Lights start the Thursday sessions on the 26th April.
Sessions at The Yard and Suburban start around 1800 on Sundays. Cellar V sessions will start at 1500 on Sundays and 2000 on Thursdays. All sessions are free. No better way to chill out on Sundays and Thursdays than great music in these tasty bars.

Live Lounge acoustic trio perform a special version of Stevie Wonder's Living For The City (40 years since release) to celebrate Bradford City's amazing progress to the Capital One Wembley Cup Final in February 2013. This re-edit includes footage of the great day, and has been submitted in the 'video' category of Rock The House, the Parliamentary music competition. Radio Aire's Cash for Kids, along with Leeds City College, are giving unsigned music acts the chance to perform in front of 70,000 people at Party in the Park!
Live Lounge Music have been shortlisted as one of the final 5 acts competing to perform at Party in the Park! The challenge is simple, raise as much money as legally possible for 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828's Cash for Kids Charity between Saturday 23rd February and Friday 8th March at 2pm.
