Live Lounge acoustic trio perform a special version of Stevie Wonder's Living For The City (40 years since release) to celebrate Bradford City's amazing progress to the Capital One Wembley Cup Final in February 2013. The original video on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCRtLspXl00 received over 5500 views in the 6 days before the final on 24th February. This re-edit includes footage of the great day, and has been submitted in the 'video' category of Rock The House, the Parliamentary music competition. The video has been nominated by David Ward MP (Bradford East)
Lyrics:
"The team is known, as the Bantams, Bradford city
These giant killers are in the final and play swansea.
The city fans give them love and affection
Keep them moving up in league the right direction.
LIVING JUST ENOUGH, JUST ENOUGH FOR Bradford CITY
The gaffer works -- some days for fourteen hours
In penalty shoot outs the teams got special powers.
Valley Parade is their home and it's seen plenty
Premiership teams, have fallen by the many.
Scoring JUST ENOUGH, JUST ENOUGH to get to wembley.
The clubs past, at times has sure been tragic
We'll never forget, but the future sure seems magic.
A city unties through the power of football
sense of belief making Bradfordians stand tall..
Giving JUST ENOUGH, JUST ENOUGH FOR To Bradford CITY
Their place secured, in the capital one cup final
The player who scored use to stack shelf's in idle.
We're singing this song, for our love of Bradford city. wish them luck and hope that they beat Swansea.
Scoring just enough, just enough to win at wembley .
ADDING TO THE EVER INCREASING AMOUNT OF GOOD LUCK SONGS FOR THE BCFC AND THEIR HEROIC JOURNEY TO WEMBLEY IN THE CAPITAL ONE CUP FINAL.
